NorTrials Meeting in Milan
On Thursday the 12th of October, the fourth meeting between Norwegian healthcare personnel and international pharma and medical device industry took place under the ECTRIMS (European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis) conference in Milan.

About 70 participants got to hear about Norway's ambitions for clinical studies (Erling Hoem, Minister Counsellor Norwegian Embassy), NorTrials and the experiences from the first year (Signe Fretland, coordinating unit), the possibilities for clinical trials on MS in Norway (Kjell-Morten Myhr, NorTrials Brain Health ) and academic updates from three projects published during the congress (Karine Eid, Lars Skattebøl, Marton König).
Following the introduction, there was plenty of time for mingling and networking accompanied by Italian appetizers. Hopefully, we will see the results of these talks in the form of new MS projects for Norway in the coming months and years! Thanks to the embassy, Innovation Norway, LMI, Melanor and NorTrials center for Brain Health, as co-organisers of the meeting.
