NorTrials Meeting in Amsterdam
On 26 August, the third international meeting between representatives from the Norwegian healthcare system and international pharma and medical device industry was successfully arranged, within the field of cardiology.
About 75 participants got to see beautiful Amsterdam during a two-hour boat trip on the city's canals.
Ambassador Bård Ivar Svendsen was present from the Norwegian embassy in The Hague to welcomethe attendees. Head of NorTrials' coordinating unit, Signe Øien Fretland, gave a brief introduction to the initiative and shared experiences that have been made since the start of NorTrials in 2022.
Center manager Peder Langeland Myhre gave a historical perspective on clinical trials within cardiology, and encouraged participating cardiologists to answer requests from the industry with a YES and in a timely manner.
The event was organised by the Norwegian embassy, Innovation Norway, Inven2, LMI, Melanor and NorTrials.
